Research Focus:
Our mission at the SADLAB is to conduct research that focuses on translating affective science, or the study of emotion, to identify differences in the substrates of mood disorders. We aim to identify biomarkers that serve as prognostic indicators of successful treatment response for mood disorders. Finally, we are working towards developing cost-effective versions of Behavioral Activation treatment for depression.

Clinical Interests:
Evidence-based (manualized) treatments for mood disorders, including the use of cognitive and behavioral activations therapies for depression and bipolar disorders, cognitive and behavioral treatments, for anxiety and stress conditions (fears, phobias, panic disorder).
