Divisions
Our divisions within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences provide specialized training, research and patient care related to our vast area of study. Our associated faculty members are committed to helping our students and trainees develop clinical, research and leadership skills, while helping the various populations for whom we care through our affiliated clinical sites and hospitals.
Addiction Psychiatry
Providing clinical services to individuals who have problems with drugs and alcohol, training for medical personnel in addiction treatment and consultation to other programs.
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Working to better educate families and improve treatment for children who require psychiatric and psychological services.
Consultation Liaison Psychiatry
Helping patients with complex medical problems that may exacerbate, or be exacerbated by, psychiatric symptoms.
Forensic Psychiatry
Dealing with matters of civil, criminal and administrative law as well as evaluation and specialized treatment of individuals involved with the legal system.
General Psychiatry
Delivering outpatient and inpatient clinical care, training the next generation of clinicians and generating new knowledge to benefit our patients and humanity.
Psychology
Studying human behavior and brain function across multiple psychiatric and developmental disorders to improve health and well-being.
