The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, in partnership with our affiliated care institutions, offers multiple psychiatry fellowships that provide a high-quality clinical and research experience. Our fellows leave confident to practice and lead in their respective psychiatric areas.
Addiction Psychiatry
Builds skills and understanding, through exposure to various levels of care and treatment modalities, in the care of patients whose lives are affected by substance use.
Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
Equips fellows with the knowledge and skills involved in direct patient care as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Forensic Psychiatry
Prepares fellows to provide ethical professional services in civil and criminal forensic evaluations and to understand the principles of psychiatric treatment in justice-involved settings.
Geriatric Psychiatry
Trains fellows in the delivery of skilled and comprehensive care of older adults suffering from psychiatric and neuropsychiatric disorders.
